i'm new here a small intro

my name is lars 23 yo
i come from the netherlands
my nick name is lusig
my bf2 name is crushingbomberfist
favorite games bf2 and cod2

already i have a problem hope somebody can help me
i have downloaded the naw server en the map pack
the problem is that when i start up the game there are no maps to play
did i unpack the maps in the wrong diroctory or map can somebody tell me
in which map the play maps should be

you need to download the NAW 3.8.1.2 Mod, not the server. the server version only works for making a server, not for playing, so you will need to download the mod and install it to play.

also, the mod is multiplayer only.

but still no maps to play in the game

like i said, you WILL NOT be able to play in singleplayer.

you will now be able to play.

installed the mod
installed the maps

start up the game
multiplayer game

the game caals that is do not have the maps

i think i'm doing something wrong but i dont know what
is there a specific map where the playeble online maps belong that i missed
or do i have to put the file over onother one
or does the whole mod and map files go in a seperate map

You may not have that specific map wich on the server,i'd go check ur naw/levels folder and look what u have in there...

Hey lugis welcome,

When you open the NAW levels zip, you have to install each one of those maps.

So you click on the first one and install it, a specific install screen will come up for it.

Then move to the next and so on.

You also have to launch the game from the NAW Icon which is in the  mods/naw folders.

You can make a shortcut to your desktop for it.

Now launch the game with the NAW icon, BF2 will start up but it will look and sound different.

if you dont see any maps in multiplayer and you have installed the maps one at a time.
in the search filter for servers untick everything apart from this mod only.

i had someone call me at 3am with the same problem lol.
