Heys Guys, great Mod you've made here!!! I travel a lot in Africa (where there is little to no broadband - only in South africa and thats not great either) and i love playing BF2 SP.
My Question is: Are there any plans to navmesh the maps you guys have got in 3.9 so that they can be played in SP?

I know that many people would love to be able to play this mod in SP.

Thanks again for many hours of fun!!!

We are still looking into this but at the moment not any time soon since it requires a MASSIVE amount of time for each map (I believe Dice said for a 16 player map size it takes a couple of days and Naw isnt NAW unless its 64, so you can see our problem, not to say this wont ever happen, we're still just in the infancy on this part.

There is a patch
http://www.filecloud.com/files/file.php?user_file_id=42469

That allows you to run 64 player maps in single player vannilla BF2. It might work for NAW I will check it out on my test rig tonight an let you know.

Warning: once you run this patch Punkbuster enabled servers will kick you.

There's a newer version of this patch v1.04 whic can be downloaded from the West Coast Clans (WCC) web site. You have to register first before you can download it:

http://www.wccsquad.com/modules.php?name=Downloads&d_op=viewdownloaddetails&cid=31&lid=709&title=Codename:%20WCC%20COOP%20V%201.0

I'd be interested to know how you got on with respect to trying out some of these maps in SP.  I'm attempting to self teach myself some basic mapping with  the aim of eventually being able to NavMesh some of the netter MP maps such as Iron Gator, Assault on Al Jahrah and Assault on Waalwijk Island to name but a few. I have lots of time thanks to  a serious road traffic accident, so I'd love to plow something back into the community. We shall see. There are at least 120 maps that can be played in singleplayer. Okay there are quite a lot of what would appear repeats, but these are often reskinned or modified according to which modification your using. Nearly all of the ones i've got give me different playability.

head on over to http://www.battlefieldsingleplayer.planetbattlefield.gamespy.com if you need help working on SP support. thats all we do.

you can't just add the NAW toys to maps, it will take a lot more than just navmeshing. there's no AI code for the NAW weapons or vehicles.
