From TotalBF2.com -

We have been informed of an email sent out to an older forum database taken by none other than GameWizard. What the message states is as follows:

You are getting this email because you are currently registered at totalbf2.com, bf2.com or bf2142.com. The forums of those pages have merged into one, now located at http://forums.********.com/.

    BF2 forums: http://********.com/forumdisplay.php?f=3
    BF2142 forums: http://********.com/forumdisplay.php?f=310

You're previous accounts have been kept, along with all your posts and threads.

At the moment, as you may have noticed, only the forums are available. We are hard at work to create our central portal for each gaming section which should be ready within a week.

A lot of changes have been made since the move, so if you notice any issues with your accounts or the forums, feel free to report them.

This email is fake!

What GameWizard says is not true nor has any sites merged into his site. This is his attempt at reclaiming what he believes is his, which it is not. He is simply trying to steal the community and is nothing more than a common thief now. Please do not believe any emails you will be receiving from the site as they are not true. Thank you.

We are currently investigating whether or not this hacking attempt was directed at all of our users or only those registered at totalbf2.com. We are also looking into possible legal action against the party that conducted this malfeasance. We believe that certain privacy laws have been broken and are set on protecting the information of our trusted community.

We apologize any inconvenience that this may have caused. Any emails coming from this website/domain are to be considered spam. The theft of your information should not be taken lightly everyone.

Im not sure really what is going on here but i guess that there are 2 sides to a story.this gamewizard guy started TotalBF2  as a fan site and it was taken over by MYIS and he was employed part-time there.Sometime later he was got rid of(i have no details). Some argue that he sold the site and others say he alledgedly didnt recieve a penny.I have no idea about the truth of this. But you can checkout the game fever website for more inform or disinformation.
