I'm somewhat afraid of this mod's future given that I haven't seen anyone playing for days. The number of servers went from like 22 to 14 all of a sudden. And then there is a strange mention of version 3.95. I'm guessing that is what will be released soon in leui of 4.0. Am I missing something? Has everyone downloaded the latest 1.4 patch beta? I'm hesitant to download that unless I know that everyone else has it.

So are most of the servers testing that version right now? I just sort of feel left out of the loop. Where are all the regular players and servers? Should I download EA's 1.4beta2 patch to get access to more servers? I just find it aggravating that the entire community has disappeared and no one is playing.

what you have missed is the fact is naw was created for our tourney
we really don't care how many servers run our mod ,even though its a complement
thats  not why we created naw its for our own use here ate naw.
plus I'm sure everyone is checking out poe2 for right now. Wink

Yup POE2 has stolen the servers that hosted most of the other mods..when the fervour dies down im sure that there will be more N@W servers again..You can always join te tournament m8 if you have time to spare.... Wink

Ahh yes, the time is always the devil with me. I'm afraid of commitment in most areas of life exluding relationships :-P. So I probably wouldn't be the best tourney candidate. Ahm, I cannot believe that POE2 has 600 servers. POE2 sucks. Any mod that doesn't provide MANPADs isn't worth my time. Reminds me of the old desert combat where it's all about tanks, ducks, and planes. No thanks, really. So, may the fervor die down! I'm sure the next NAW release will bring more folks back into the fold.

But hey if I could be a mercenary member of the tourney, or else add myself in as some sort of target practice, then may I be accepted! Let the Ta(s) and generals handle dedication and discipline :-).

Unfortuantely, YES POE2 did take most of them away.  For =CDU=, we have reduced our number of clan supported servers and we have one guy who uses his very own server to test new BF2 mods and such.  We loved NAW, but as the public started to drop off we too really wanted something fresh and POE2 gave that to us.

We are eagerly awaiting 4.0 and am sure we will put up a server for that as well.  We are trying to find a game we all like to play that will also bring in the public.  NAW did that for a while and POE2 is doing that now, and D-con will do that too - if they ever release something.

Who knows what will happen in the future, but I gotta tell you I really miss some of the NAW stuff.  Just not all the claymores - they are the debil Grin
