After I download the 3.9 standalone, the 3 mappacks and 3.9.6 clinet patch, do I need to use the two fixes? It's not refered in the install instructions.

the only box you need to check is 'same mod only' (in the filters).

there are only a few that have gone to 1.4 so far, and only 1 or 2 that have patched to 3.9.6.
