anybody help

i can,t get n@w to work,have tried installing everything again all day ,it either crashes straight to desktop without loading anything up,orloads map,but when join comes up it crashes,,so now i,ve installed 3.9 
=all mappacks and 1.4 patch,do i now insall 3.9.5  +3.9.6,which i,ve been doing all day ,still crashes,what have i missed? .and what the hell do i do with the 4.0 packs,  i installed them earlier could,nt get them to work either,can,t get anyone on teamspeak to help,,will try again  later
