i downloaded the map pack 4 using the bittorrent link on the download page but its just a rar file that extracts seperate map folders. is there a way to just cut/paste the map folders or do i NEED the exe to install the maps?

also, are there any bittorrents for the first 3 map packs?

yeah, that would seem a bit odd. I think they somehow got the wrong package from us. It should still work.

Why would you use a torrent to get the files anyway? Why not use Internode [toward the bottom of our download page]? you don't need an account and the download speed is great. I used them today to get the EA 1.4 patch because they were faster than getting it off our own host. They have all map packs.

thanks for the feedback. only reason why i asked about the bittorrent is because my ISP has been flakey and i get occasional drops in my connection and when it happens my download stops. i'm just going to use getright or something until i have a chance to call them to see if they can fix it.

check your network cables and your network card. I had dropped connections from a faulty network card once. If you have a spare add it to your PC. I have a built-in motherboard network connection and a standalone PCI network card. Whenever I think there is a problem I swap the connection, if it still happens I'v narrowed it down to it probably being my ISP.
