playing N@W

Why isn’t anyone playing N@W and don’t tell me they are playing bf2142 if they are why aren’t you playing in the last week the most people that have been on at once is 5 people only 5 if you don’t play N@W will die so start playing people.

when single player is added to the mod, it will give people to option to play with as many 'people' as they want at any time they want.

but i agree with you - every time i hop on to play, there's noone about.

I think that alot of people are more drawn to ranked games,I could be wrong in this assumption,But I have to say that I am guilty of this.

I have been playing battlefield games for about a year now,That might not seem long to many of you,But in that timeframe,I have learned alot about them.

What I learned the most though,is that Gameplay can get boring and stagnet if there is a not enough variety.That is what happened to me.And that is why I began seeking out different mods to try out beyond battlefield2 the main game that I have been playing.

Yes,I went out and bought BF2142 because of all the hype,and I like this game for what it is,But then once again..things became stagnet.

So here I am again,back once more to play N@W.

The last time I played The N@W mod was back in April,and I didn't last long because at that time, I was more interested in ranked bf games.

What I have discovered now is,That N@W has alot more variety than I previously thought..It is always upgrading and it is always injecting more variety into gameplay,something that I have searching for the whole time.

I have become a fan of large maps with plenty of vehicles,and N@W seems to deliver.

In closing,I would like to say that I am looking forward to playing more on this mod,and maybe...just maybe,Others will be back because of the same reason

even out yet which in my oppinion is wrong! naw was released
in aug 2005 and while it has a very small fan base we feel
we have tryed to create a good mod with a ton of new content
and a huge selection of maps, some say to many but how can you say
a mod has too much content when its free to download.
anyway thx for your kind words and support with the single player and coop support
and sat nav's new content and our own naw will continue to grow and hopfully be supported and played.

I Agree, N@W is A very talented group,And in my opinion ,Should be At least in the top3.But who am I?,

They should have never been considered in the first place,They have nothing to offer just as yet,and we don't even know if they will deliver; They could just abandon their work altogether,and the average Joe would not even know.

Let me say this,Everything that you are doing is perfect for a player like me! Please do not get discouraged. like I said before ,I was caught up in the ranking thing,that is why I didn't play bf1942 or bf Vietnam too much...I was chasing medals,ribbons,higher ranks,and UN-locks as such .I think that other players are caught up in the same fix.

I did download other mods such as POE,project reality,operation peace keeper...yada yada yada.But They, in my opinion,All SUCK!.

I really like this mod though!.ALOT OF VARIETY.

I think i speak for a number of players who have been here like 2-2 1/2 years,that this is not the case...
Ranked gaming is fun...but tactical WARFARE ,like the tournament is a lot more demanding on the player(think fast,make split second calls)the people who played here,WILL always play naw,because they are addicted to that kind of gameplay and teamwork that this mod can provide!,but after the tournament ran into some troubles,all decided to lay low for a while,but that does not mean that we arent playing it anymore!
This mod is the nr.1 on my list and will always be,we all are looking forward to play a tournament,but its that simple:
Without people(read Sign Ins)we cant do S%@*.

Because we were short on players,we coulnt possibly proceed the tournament,but when there are enough people we can!
Kano ,and the rest of the DEV-team[me bowing down..lol]will provide us with ,the "I shit you not" best mod out there,

Hi folks, I'm the admin at Headgamers, the only server currently running N@W (everytime I check) and wanted to chime in on a few items.

The whole unlock thing with BF2 has been a real pisser with me.  I actually avoid ranked servers in protest and I prefer the mods over vanilla BF2.  I've always felt that if I spend $50.00 on a game, I want all the toys immediately, or at least be able to get them through single player like all other games.  I think people like the unlocks because it's like a piece of ass .... get a little and you want more.  EA figured out how to hook people and it worked.

Well, it worked Kano.  This mod is by far the best and we will continue to host it for some time to come.  I wouldn't let the mod voting thing get you down, as unreleased mods shouldn't even be on the ballot.  Which is why I didn't vote. 

We are anxiously awaiting the release of version 5 and are doing our best at spreading the word.  When 5 is released, we plan to go co-op and see how things pan out. 

Keep up the FANTASTIC work guys!  We really enjoy the fun provided by N@W!

SpokLAN.net will be running N@W 5.0 in our mod server rotation when it goes to final release...I may even push to run it full-time depending equipment availability.
