What if any plans are there for BF2?

i am following a story which may bring ppl back to naw/bf2 if its true

As of March (some point) there will no longer be any stats recording in game. all unlocks will be available to all and amongst other things the J10 will apparently be more in line with the other jets in game. They are also "apparantly going to be giving euro forces and armoured fury away as part of this patch. Any one who bought these "booster packs" will be a little upset.

Ok so This is likely to be a hoax, but it is just an outline at this point my but we may here something more by the end of the week.

rest assured if this is true all content from boosterpacks will be added to naw and touched up by myself or smag if i ever here from him again.
this with sat nav's content ai fixed 50 maps all coop/singleplayer and other surprises i have been working on should bring interest in our mod and bf2 hopefully.

no offense, and I know it could be a rumor, but I find it hard to believe they would include the booster packs. If they did that then people might not want to ever buy them again for other games, even if they are released toward the end of a games life-cycle...psychologically, people would defer buying them knowing they would be available later on down the road.

I hope I'm wrong.

i know brother but lets see what happens,
booster packs were not a money maker for dice.
and from what i read 2142 hardly covered development costs.
which means that the battlefield community is voting with their pockets so to speak.
this could be the only way to win ppl back the the series.
we will see, posts were writen by ea employee's which is the only reason
this has any credit, and the only reason i mentioned it at all lol.
