Ok guys crysis beta is now free to dl from fileplanet!  no more paid subscriptions required to get it,oh and dont worry if you dont have a dx10 card,it will run in dx9.  last beta keys so act now!

ya i tried to tell every forum that i visit about it but i guess i wasnt quick enough for yall.it was proll only open for a day or 2?i was pissed that they delayed the sp demo,so im happy that i got in the beta!great mp,almost pwns bft on the vehicular and infantry combat.but bf 2 is stlii my fave game tho with all you great modders still ther for tha comunity.if it werent 4 ya guys i would have stoped playin that game a while back!

The Crysis demo is awesome.  Hope you all have had a chance to try it.   

Here's a tweak that actually makes this games graphics even better.  Apparently, this tweak will implement DX10 stuff in Windows XP, which has folks pissed off because Microsoft has said that only Vista will run DX10.  An interesting read even if you aren't trying the tweak:

And yes I have tried the tweak, it does work, and the water is amazing, light rays are cool too.  Shadows were much more pronounced etc.  Page 2 of the thread above has downloadable config files.

I'm only running DX9 cards but the beta & demo look great Smiley shame i still ain't got my vista to reinstall lol
