Developers TeamSpeak Information

If you are a registered member of our old TeamSpeak all you have to do is replace the old server address with the new one (below) in your Teamspeak NAW server "local address book". No need to do anything else, we have all your user info and login credentials on the new server.

If you are a new user, use the following info and the link to setting up your Teamspeak Client software.

Server Address: 174.133.247.20:8823

PASSWORD= headshot

TeamSpeak Guide

First, download and install the TeamSpeak application. It can be downloaded from here:

http://www.goteamspeak.com/news.php click download and then click Teamspeak 2 Win32 Client (RC2) and save to desktop then run it.

Step 1. Once installed, execute the application.

Step 2. From the Settings pull down menu, select the Sound Input/Output Settings.

Step 3. On the Sound Settings dialogue window, select the "Push to Talk" option in the Voice Send Method section. Then click the "Set" button and select a button or key that you will use to activate your microphone in order to communicate. When complete, click the Close button.

Step 4. (OPTIONAL but RECOMMENDED) In order to get the best clarity in regards to audio input and output, it is recommended that you configure TeamSpeak 2 to utilize your Audio card's hardware drivers. To do this, select the Options menu item from the Settings pulldown menu, and select the Sound Devices tab. If your audio card supports this, select the "Wave" option from the Sound Driver section. When complete, click the OK button.

Step 5. (OPTIONAL) If you are annoyed by the audio alerts when players enter or leave the rooms, you can disable those alerts by selecting the Options menu item from the Settings pull down menu. From there select the Sound Notifications tab and either selectively disable the alerts for the specific actions, or disable all sounds by checking the "Disable all sounds" checkbox. When complete, click the OK button.

Step 6. Now you are ready to connect to the TeamSpeak 2 Server. From the Connection pulldown menu, select the Connect menu item.

Step 7. Under the Servers entry on the left, right mouse click and select "Add Server". Then enter a descriptive name for the server  Once added, make sure it is highlighted and enter the information on the right as displayed below
The Label will match the Server name by default, and your nickname should be your tag format and enter the password = headshot
NOTE: the password will appear as asterisks when entered. Once all the information is entered, click the Connect button.

Now that you have successfully connected, you need to register yourself with the TeamSpeak Server. Registering allows you to enter other channels on the server, as well as setup your own User Login name and password (which ensures that when you logon, it is you, and not someone else using the same name).

Step 8. To register, select the "Register With Server" menu item from the Self pulldown menu.

Step 9. On the "Register With Server" dialog window, enter your player name (without the tags) and a password that only you will know. Click Register to accept the entries.

Step 10. Now, disconnect from the TeamSpeak Server and open the "Connect to Server" dialog window again. Enter your player name (the one without the tags) in the User Login field, and replace the existing password with the password you entered when you registered in the previous step. Click Connect when complete.

That's it. You are now registered with the TeamSpeak server and you can switch between the channels. You do not need to re-register with this server anymore. If any of your tags change, just modify them in the Nickname entry on the "Connect to Server" dialog window
