Help with bf2 NAW 5.2!

hey guys i have some questions. first of all when ever i try to launch a tomahawk from the submarine in invasion of the philipines, the thing just blows up inside the sub and i die. why? also how do u use the designator? help would be apreciated. thx

I think i am right in saying you have to be above water to shoot the missile from the sub,not sure on the second question though.

hmmm teh only time i got it to fire right was when i got my ship on land like driving into the shore

uhhh, yeah, you have to be on the surface, and you have to from the the pilots side, make sure you are ALL the way on the surface, switch to the firing control and launch... you guide with point and click... click on the target, and it will go in to where you point... it doesn't hurt to oversteer unless you run out of fuel... which is the line going right to left on the bottom center of the screen.
