i got the game the other day and i think it is an awsome mod compaird to some of the others i have tried but i whent to download some map packs but none will work. when you installed the game it gives you 2 items to play the game the "Play Nations at War 5.2" icon and the "Play Nations at War 5.2 Ranked" the ranked one will not work when i click on it it loads up comes up with the first bf2 pic then goes black and an error comes up but it is behing the black screen so i cant find out what it says. is the any way i can sort this or any other way you could help would be great.


finaly it not a major problem but the one thing about the mod i dont realy like is when you are in a battle the npcs always semm to turn to me even if i am 100s of metrs away and the some of my team mates a lot closer and if i am a sniper hiding in long grasswith ghillie suit on they semm to no exactley where u are. i know i most prob cant change this but is there any one else who finds this anoying or am i the only one

run the patch to update the new map packs you installed.

hiya, I had this problem where it wouldent run properly and had to re-download the 5.2 install file from a different mirror. have had no problems since with the game. same with map packs. hope this helps

no you arent. i find this very annoying and usually, because of the dust effects, the second level of the sniper doesent work, and somtimes i think the physics is slightly off, but thats probably just me.

if i am a sniper hiding in long grasswith ghillie suit on they semm to no exactley where u are.

sometimes on bf2 if you just take a shot and go back quickly, they dont see you. i'm not sniper enough on naw (for the reasons above) to know this but maybe this will work.
