NAW Client .exe size (on your PC):1.81gb
BF2 version - is it Current version: Yes
Operating System:  Vista
Processor: AMD 6000+
Memory: 2gb
Graphic Card: 2xNvidia 8600GT SLI
Graphic Card Driver Version:175.19
BF2 1.41 Patch installed: Yes
NAW 5.0 Patch installed: Yes
NAW 5.0 Map Pack 1 installed: Yes
NAW 5.0 Map Pack 2 installed: Yes
NAW 5.0 Map Pack 3 installed: Yes
NAW 5.0 Map Pack 4 installed: Yes
NAW 5.2 Map Pack 5 installed: Yes
Did you re-install everything correctly again?: Yes
Did you re-install your graphic drivers correctly again?: Yes

Description of problem:
CTD's on any random map.  I can usually only play for a little over 30mins before a CTD.  That's on any given map that I play.  Now the map, Highway Tampa, I have never been able to play.  Once it's done loading and I click Start, it's an automatic CTD everytime.  I've ran it in windowed mode and no errors come up.  I've erased, re-downloaded and re-installed the NAW mod  and map packs 3 times and it's still the same. I also made sure to install them all in correct order. I've also re-installed BF2 just to be safe. None of the hardware is overheating. Dunno what else to do.

id say you were running out of memory.
but try this.

a: run patch again.

b: defrag your hard drive naw is over 5 gigs
messy hard drive can affect performance.

c: try borrowing some more memory.

The memory was the only guess I had left, guess I'll have to go get a couple more sticks and try it out.  Could that be the problem I have with the Highway Tampa map not being playable at all also?  Whichever way, I'd like to say that you guys have an awesome mod here, I wouldn't be playing BF2 anymore if I hadn't found this.  Thank you all!   Wink

Hi ndfan850, sorry to hear your having problems...looks like you did everything right.

What about vanilla BF2? ...does it crash randomly on any of those maps?

Nope, no crashes on vanilla BF2.  I did finally get an error though, BF2 Memory Error, but the error went away before I could see details. The couple extra memory sticks should do the job when it arrives, I hope.

yeh it should, we pushed naw as far as it would go and
the memory leak in bf2 dosnt help things either.
