Well you seem to have everything installed correctly...the only thing I would suggest is to uninstall those beta drivers and try the official public 177.41 WHQL drivers.

Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

I have not changed the drivers yet. I am still using 177.92. With those drivers, I am able to play the Hill and Dragon Valley with no problems.  The frames rates are close to 100.  However, Back to Suribachi is not smooth in the beginning with frame rates as low as 1 to 5. Then was ok but frame rates around 40’s with 60 sometimes. Then it crashed to desktop but quicker than before.  I played the Dragon Valley and tried to go to Back to Suribachi after that and it crashed to desktop. Earlier, I had a memory.dll error. I attempt to play after the Hill.  The last time, I did not have that error. I think that the problem is not the driver. Why can I play others ok but not Back to Suribachi? I think that there is a bug in Back to Suribachi. I have higher frames rates with COD 4. I hope that you can help to fix this problem so I can play with no problems.

Thanks, Medico

memory.dll error means you have run out of memory.
this is due to a leak in bf2's engine.

only suggestion i have is get more memory
this may help with other issues too. Wink

Thank you for your reply.

More memory is always good. However, it sounds the map NAW Back to Suribachi is very demanding for memory. Am I right? I have Windows Booster with 4 GB in flash drive. It uses 3.7 GB for that function. Is that supposed to help? Or Am I doing something wrong?

Hi to all,

I want to add this. I was able to play this map completely. I did not see any sluggishness. I was glad about that. My soundcard is X-Fi. I noticed that I was using the entertainment mode. I went to the game and the audio settings were audio settings and medium. X-Fi was not chosen. I changed to game mode. On game mode the settings are X-Fi and ultrahigh. I played the game for about 1 hour. In the beginning, I noticed some sluggishness and during the game in occasions. The score was close to 300 and then the game did not respond anymore and crashed to desktop, this time, no memory.dll error. I think the problem seems caused by the soundcard. Is it something in the map when it was developed that deal with sounds? I did not have any problem with other maps so far, thanks to God. As I said before, I played Call of Duty 4 with no problems so far, recently, thanks to God. I played Crysis demo with no problems at all, thanks to God. I know those games are more demanding on the video card than BF2. I can tell even with the temperatures, besides the frame rates. I hope that a solution would be possible so I can complete the game in soundcard game mode.

Thanks, Medico
