Help meeeee!!!I got crash after clicking start the NAW 5.2

Description of problem:
I just installed the BF2 (without maps, mods or upgrade patches), it goes normally. then I installed the NAW 5.2.exe. After the installation finished, I restarted my PC then starting the NAW 5.2 (got black screen for 10-15 secs) then back again to desktop menu. What should I do to fix my problem?

you should try unistalling the mod....making sure everything is deleted....then just install the naw5.2 full clinent......then the map packs.....make sure you install them in order from 1 thru 5 as map pack 5 updates the maps in the other map packs

But the v1.41 patch won't work for my computer. Should I use the old version patches?

and you shouldnt have to unistall bf2 unless its crashing without the mod.
other than that i have no idea.
I had a problem with the 1.41 patch before.....while running it, it would get to about 12% and i'd get a error.....so Id try running it again and it would get to 25% and fail.I finally kept running the patch over and over again untill it fully patched. Couple months later i reinstalled windows and after that i didnt have trouble running the patch.
 why cant you use the 1.41 patch?

Should I patched it from 1.2 till 1.41?

yeah....patching might help.......why cant you use the 1.41 patch though??....you said in a earlier post that you couldnt use it.

Because the 1.41 didnt work for my old version bf2. After patched, I got CTD so I don't use it.

In my time of working with BF2, I've noticed a common theme with the patching... either it patches directly to 1.41 or it doesn't.  For those that it works, great... those that it doesn't need to do what several people have discovered... patch from base version all the way to 1.41 in individual patches.  My theory right now is that it revolves around a graphics driver since all the people I've met have been running nvidia, but that could be completely groundless since they own a large percentage of the gaming market.

no... that's not what it means... it just means that some people's graphics drivers in various configurations have issues with the BF2 1.41 patch
