NEED HELP!! can not play n.a.w help.

Hi guys

NEED HELP!! can not play n.a.w i have reinstalled it to see if that works but no good.
when i try to load a n.a.w server it goes to the desktop then relaunchs bf2 and then the map i tryed to get into is a bf2 map not n.a.w, why does it do this i jst cannot load a n.a.w map online any help?

yeah i do have the 1.41 patch installed!!

It's not just me my two other friends have the same problem as me also?
i can play singleplayer no problem at all.

Its just when i try to join a server it CTD then restarts the bf2 disk and loads bf2?

I have all drivers up to date and patchs!
my friends have the same problem as me any help!!

Hi,
just for me to understand it right - you runs BF2 from an DVD ?
Normal BF2 is complete installed on a HD (you must only have the BF2 DVD in a drive for online key check) - or ?

In NAW SP mode it starts an (local) server. When this runs then it should normal find the right maps also in the MP mode.

1. Have you remove/delete all old NAW files and folders before you have reinstall NAW ?
I mean an hand made uninstall, not only the use of the NAW uninstall program and an system reboot after this.

2. Have you try a run in window mode ? This should normal say why it goes/gives an CTD.
To do this use this start command :"D:\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 0 +restart +modPath mods/naw +sx640 +sy480.

Note : modify the path to the right BF2. exe !
This means it is the "BF2.exe" in the main BF2 folder NOT the BF2.exe in "D:\Battlefield 2\mods\naw\BF2.exe"

3. Have you any self made modifications in your BF2 "maplist.con" files in this folders "\mods\bf2\settings\" or "\mods\naw\settings\" ?
