LAN Server

Hi Guys, im so interested in this mod i love all the screens, i downloaded
NAW-MOD5.2
NAW-5.2 server
NAW-5.2 MAP PACK

BF2 Server 1.3
BF2CCD 1.4.2446
BF2CC Client 1.42446

i was having a LAN at my place and wanted to try it out, unfortunately i didnt test this before the event and i could not get a server running on local, but i kept at it and after i could get a server running using the bf2 server 1.3 and it stays running, when form the mod i go to join muliplayer, join local, i find my server but... it is in red you know about the different versions but now ive installed so many things im unsure on which is not right version.
does it mean the mod v mod server is different or
the server (1.3) is different to my bf2 which is patched to 1.41 or

ive spent more hours than i care to mention on this mainly so next LAN i can have a go with me Friends.
just starting a local game from in the mod doesnt work game crashes, starting a dedicated server using inbuilt server launcher from bf2 doesnt work, some file error i can screen it if it helps, using bf2 server 1.3 is stable and stays up but says client is later version than server(but all i downed was the 5.2 of everything) and 
if there is anything you can think of please let me know i wanna LAN it

server needs to run 5.2 comes with all maps from packs 1-5

client needs 5.2 full instal
all map packs 1-5,
install maps in order as mappacks also patch previous maps released.
then servers wont appear in red as you now have the same as server.
