Another NAW issue

Recently reinstalled it and every map pack (in order) my battlefield is patched and punkbuster is up to date (not sure if that relevant either) singleplayer works fine but multiplayer doesnt come up with any servers and it did before i reinstalled if i unclick every filter then i get loads of servers but i cant join because "my version is older" anyone know what the problem is?

did you install from a 5.0 or a 5.2 version? Did you install mappack 5?
give us some info not just you installed again.
