Here is one of dozens of files you will be deleting (unique to NAW); The next person who suggests deleting the Menu_Server.zip will have their post deleted and get a warning.

Ok, the original post author is not alone. I have exactly the same problem. I have 2 computers at home on which me and other people play. NAW 5.2 was working perfectly fine. NAW 6.0 won't even launch on one of our computers. No errors, no nothing. Tried windowed mode and same thing: won't even start. The original BF2 works fine and AIX2.0 mod works just fine. BF patched to 1.5. All map packs are installed for NAW 6.0 (all 4 of them). Basically the exactly same problem as the original author has.

Desperately looking for solution.

There's only so much we can suggest (assuming you filled out the troubleshooting questionnaire). If every question is answered in the questionnaire....and there seems to be no problem with the patches and updates and drivers...then it's probably soemthing else.   Everybody assumes that their system is faultless and because they installed it ...it should work. This is never the case. I assume that those people that have a problem that we cannot fix...have other problems with their system that they don't even know about. Why do I say this?...because I have never had a problem running NAW...or any other game...but then again...I build computers and I fix them.

I have read in one of the posts that system requirements for NAW 6.0 includes at least ATI x850XT video card. On my problematic pc I have ATI x1650pro AGP 512MB vRAM. Can you, guys, tell me if this x1650 pro is up to the task for NAW 6.0?

Well, it is not running at all, not even starting and that's why I'm asking this question. I basically want to know if this card is capable/known to run NAW 6.0 at all. I don't know if this card is better or worse than minimum required x800 (online benchmarks look inconsistent). So, should ATI x1650 pro "theoretically" run NAW 6.0 or not at all?

If it's superior to the x850XT...then it should ...maybe you should do what most people do....and go here;
