Hi ,

I have a problem using NAW mod.
When i start the game from the shortcut the screen becomes black, then it returns to desktop  Undecided
I've tried bf -v.1.0- v.1.41- and 1.5 but i have still the same problem   Sad
reinstalling doesn't work to  Cry

I've downloaded it here on the bottom of the screen http://www.nawmod.com/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=20&Itemid=63    
Nations at War 6.0 (Client)

(some time ago it worked and it is a GREAT mod !  Wink )

i've not downloaded any mappacks.

If you can run BF2...then you know your In-game resolution and texture setting.

C'mon dude...don't let me have to work hard getting this info from you.

Processor:  Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz

Memory:    2.0 GB

Graphic Card:   ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x7249)

Graphic Card Driver Version: Uhm ? ( sorry i don't know  Undecided )

Resolution : 1024 x 768 @60Hz

Texture settings : high

now i've installed mappack 1, but i've still the same problem  Cry

I can't help you until I have your Graphic Card model ...giving me "ATI Radeon Graphics Processor" just ain't gonna cut it.

Right-click your NAW shortcut...got to properties....look at the "Target" address...and the "Start in" address ....and tell me if the installation path is the same for BF2

e.g

Target= "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/naw

Start in="C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2"

hmm, now i have re-installed the game with all the patches (till 1.5) on the C: drive
I've also installed NAW mod , but still the same problem  Undecided

All I can suggest is to install the latest drivers for you graphics card...and to update your directX.

 Have you checked out compatability in ICON Propertys ? we set compat. to xp mode servicepack 2

go to naw folder on battlefield and remove  menu_server archive (That helped a lot)
