Hey guys just an FYI,

I am running Windows 7 (64 bit)

I had all the same issues with the game crashing on start up and I followed all the tips here.

None worked.

They actually made it crash sooner going to the 800x600 setting with everything on low and Terrain on Medium.

I tried setting the compatibility mode to run with Windows XP (Service Pack2) and still didn't work.

For kicks, I set compatibility mode to run with Windows XP (Service Pack3) and I am running with everything on the high settings 1024x768 x 60hz with no issues.

I have not tried a higher res setting yet only because it worked.

I did lower Lighting, Dynamic Shadows, and Dynamic Lighting to MEDIUM.

Anti-Aliasing is OFF

Everything else is on HIGH.

I hope this helps sort other issues out.

Thank you NAWMOD.COM for the awesome BF2-Mod. The changes look really nice.

Well done.

Kind Regards,

CAPTAINMSKII ...we are really glad you got it working....The usual option is to set it to XP SP2 because Vista (I think) only has that option...I've noticed that Win7 64bit has more options...so maybe that's the way to go for Win7 users?

I have a problem with BF2 and Win7 64bit ...9 out of 10 I don't get the terrain texture on maps....it only works in windowed for me...maybe I'll try XP SP3 compatibility mode.

anyway...have fun and let us know if you run into any more problems Wink
