Some of you (including myself) have had problems with the terrain textures not showing on BF2 with Win7...I'm not sure if it's only a Win7 64bit problem...but that's what I have...9 times out of 10 I would not get a terrain texture. The problem is a conflict with the Win7 Aero theme and BF2.

To fix this...right-click your shortcut to BF2 (or MOD) ....go to "Properties"...then go to the "Compatibility" Tab. Check "Disable Desktop composition" ...that should do the trick. It will turn off the Win7 Aero theme while you have BF2 running. It's also good to run it in "Compatibility Mode" for Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

Thanks goes out to BOGiE-uk-1 for this info.

Before this solution I closed the game, but now I can play much shorter though, I can not point or fly, and after a while close, sorry for my English, I am using a translator
