Both of you are running sub standard mobility graphics chips for NAW. All I can suggest is that you turn you BF2 overall video settings to low...but keep your texture settings to medium or high...in fact try the texture setting on high first and see how it goes.

like I said yesterday...I don't think your mobility x3100 is up to the task.

Same... Load problems... Nations at war v6.0... Same 'solution' (not a sensible working one)

The background :

What file host did you download your client from? fileplanet (softpedia links give 'file not found')
What file host did you download your Map Packs from from? fileplanet
What is your in-game Screen Resolution? 800x600 an 60Hz (minimum)
What is your Texture settings set at? tried minimum - and custom, with most parts set to medium
NAW Client .exe size (on your PC) 1,572,638 KB: NO - current size for v6. is 1.610.380.518 bytes
BF2 version - is it Current version 1.5.3153-802.0 : Yes
Operating System: XP 32 Bit
Processor: Intel  AMD Sempron 1.8 GhZ (32 bit CPU instructions only)
Memory: 1024MB (fully dedicated to system)
Graphic Card: NIVIDA GeForce 6200
Graphic Card Driver Version: Fully Updated
BF2 1.4.1 Patch installed: Yes
BF2 1.5 Patch installed: Yes
NAW 6.0 Map Pack 1 installed: Yes, size 865.594.641
NAW 6.0 Map Pack 2 installed: Yes, size 975.309.650
NAW 6.0 Map Pack 3 installed: Yes, size 891.210.023
NAW 6.0 Map Pack 4 installed: Yes, size 818.787.632
Are you able to play regular BF2 ok? Yes + other mods like: CQB - AIX2 - FH2 (+all official mods from DICE, special forces, euro forces,..)
While running NAW 6.0 in Window Mode....did you get a error message? No
Did you re-install everything correctly again?: Yes
Did you re-install your graphic drivers correctly again?: Yes, 285.58 from Nvidia.com (there was no 285.62 for this adapter)

I should add... Virtual memory set to max 3 Gb (wonder why this is not part of the question form?)

Description of problem:

same thing as other people, crashes when loading at 65-66% with no apparent error message (not that I ever saw any in DICE products)

I installed on 5 machines. 2 worked immediately without problem (with Windows 7 64 bit, 2 Gb ram, CPU Athlon64 and better). But... those two XP 32 gave me problems. I know hardware is not up to current day standards - but they are part of a stationary LAN party room setup, which usually works fine (used every 1-2 week).

tried increasing Windows virtual memory to (max) 5Gb, with no effect. Still wouldn't load.

Tried deleting (renaming actually) 'objects_server.zip' weighing in at size 126.281.678 . Then then program loaded up!!! I could spawn and see other soldiers moving in singleplay mode. But clearly weapons were missing.

So next step would maybe to delete parts of the zip file and figure out what's causing the load problems.

Hope this helps somebody maybe later. Maybe we'll figure out what inside 'objects_server.zip' gives the problems (if it's not a follow-up error from something else).

Best of luck to everybody, who may read this in a year or two!

Another solution is to set all video to low/off - and textures to HIGH

http://www.nawmod.com/forum/index.php/topic,4988.0.html

I can confirm this working. But I personally find it an odd restriction to set.

Regards
