   Just great now late at night when the worst map is on all our
servers a lone player can't load a diff. map ! I don't care about
matching points with the person in the lead I just want to play
what I'd like instead of a few lame maps late night players seem to get stuck with. Being as I'll never just sit in a game server to
clock time for badges like I've seen numerous players in many clans do ! geezzzzzzzz what the hell now. POINT-A-FOBIEA

The main server only requires 1 vote to change the map.
It has been a blessing in disguise as I have the same trouble downunder, I'm usually the only player on at my strange times.

The server now requires 2 players to vote. Most server have this setting. Since we're pointing fingers, this was done to stop CERTAIN players from continously voting one map. There have been certain occassions where I step away and don't want to lose my points or time in. Look at my player stats I have more achievements, points and time. You have to be physically playing to get medic, Repair, commander and supply. Staying just in the server doesn't get you that.
You also have to be playing to get your IAR count. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

After consideration and discussion, the server has been reset to single vote map change. In retrospect there should have been a posting and open forum on the topic. We must consider that the official server of NAW is one of the only ones that have this feature. Most servers require at least 2 voters. We are also the only server that has a high ticket range of 600. Most have between 250 to 400. This leaves us vulnerable for other players to see us as a way to stack their scores and give us a bad name, by over voting high ticket maps. There are good features as a person can vote a favourite map at any time of day when they’re the only ones in. This server doesn’t use Punkbuster as it causes issues with loading and during game play for some players. We don’t have timed rounds so players can get achievements. I’d like to think it’s a player friendly server (209.250.2.130). I hope to stimulate open discussion about this to better run the server.
