The main problen with NaW 6.0 crashes on  ATI Radeon video cards are Ka-50 Hud textures.Next files are the сausality of the crashes:

texture files that cause a crash at start-up:
Ka50Pilot_CircleTarget.dds
Ka50Pilot_CircleLocked.dds

texture files that cause a crash in-game:
Ka50Pilot_Hud.dds
Ka50Pilot_C.dds
Ka50Pilot_CrosshairLocked.dds
Ka50Pilot_LaunchToTarget.dds
Ka50Pilot_identification.dds.

Taked from Project Reality forum.

Yeap, the biggest problem is with Ka-50 Hud textures - they had unsuported sizes (for Radeon cards) - its the problem!

I've re-sized the offending textures to a compatible size.....please test and report back here and let me know if they work out for you.

Instructions
1. Download KA50Pilot_fixedDDS[ForATI].rar from the link below
2. Unpack the rar file to a folder and select all the dds files
3. Go to your NAW mod directory e.g C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\naw
4. Open menu_client.zip and navigate to \HUD\Texture\Ingame\Vehicles\Icons\Hud\Air\Attack\Ka50\Pilot
5. Drag the selected dds files into the pilot directory you have open in WinRar
6. Close menu_client.zip
7. Start NAW

Don't run this on a PunkBuster Server! as it is no longer the same file size/hash as the original.

PuckerFactor
Check all Ka-50 textures. Not only Pilot textures are wrong sized.
I resized themself & NaW crashes on 75%. Embarrassed
Nevertheless,I think that Ka-50 textures are still  the main problem - when I intigrate Olegs Ka-50 (not from NaW ))) to vannila BF2 ,I had the same problems as with NaW 6.0 .But after resizing all that stuff, it was working OK!

Where is the file from filesonic , it says

"All sharing functionality on FileSonic is now disabled. Our service can only be used to upload and retrieve files that you have uploaded personally.

If this file belongs to you, please login to download it directly from your file manager."

Yes, Filesonic has shutdown it's sharing feature because of the arrest and closure of the Megaupload site. I will create a link from another fileshare host in a moment.

Looks like most fileshare sites are shutting down. I've hosted it on this site...why not I'm paying for it!
